Hall of Fame
Michele Kane (Baylor) graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2000 and was a four-year member of the women's lacrosse team, serving as a captain during her senior year. During her junior and senior seasons, Kane was named an All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) selection and an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association (IWLCA) All-American. She helped lead the Huskies to the PSAC Championship in 2000.
She was a 1996 graduate from Cardinal O'Hara High School, where she played both field hockey and lacrosse. Kane served both teams as captain in her senior year. Additionally, she helped lead the lacrosse team to the school's first-ever Catholic League Championship during both her junior and senior years and was named to the All-Catholic Team both seasons.
Kane is currently a health and physical education teacher at The Agnes Irwin School, where she also coaches the middle school's field hockey team. She has also coached lacrosse at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. Kane also volunteers to coach for the Springfield Girls Travel Soccer team, the Springfield Athletic Association ¾ Girls Lacrosse and Basketball teams, and the St. Francis of Assisi Lacrosse and SCLC programs.
